Wear your Kindle T-Shirt
E-Ink Holdings, producer of the display techology behind Amazon's Kindle e-reader, now can print updatable digital displays onto cloth. E-ink technology rivals tablet devices in e-reader market but being closer to emulating real ink on paper, is easier on the eyes and more sunlight-friendly than an LCD or OLED screen.

E-ink display on cloth is not quite the same as a fully pixelated e-ink screen used in e-readers, instead it's been perfected for segmented, ultra-thin, rugged and flexible display use.
E-ink T-shirts will eventually being able to connect to your display via Wi-Fi so you can change the message at any time. You can imagine what Google or Facebook could do with the ad space on your T-shirt.
Currently, the screens are limited to simply flashing on & off. But with future engineering it will develop from array that emulates a basic 15-segment alphanumeric-capable to a more complex low-resolution black and white display on cloth.
