HP introduces web connected OfficeJet printers

Hewlett Packard introduced the HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One series and HP Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One, the first web-enabled OfficeJet products.
The new HP products follow on the vendors unveiling, this past June, of its first web-enabled HP Photosmart e-printing solutions designed for the cloud.
The new HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One Series includes three models: the HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One printer, the HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One printer and the HP Officejet Pro 8500A Premium e-All-in-One printer with the estimated retail price of $299.99, $399.99 and $499.99, respectively.
Available soon, the HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One allows users to print from the web and mobile devices without a PC and has built-in wireless connectivity. Compared to the Officejet Pro 8500A, the Plus model offers a bigger 4 inch touch screen, CopySmart and CopyFix, 50-page two-sided ADF, larger Legal-size glass and advanced fax/scan functions.
The e-All-in-One offers laser comparable speed of up to 15 pages per minute (ppm) black and up to 11 ppm color output with a maximum print speed of 35 ppm black and 34 ppm color.
The HP Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One is the world's first wide format all-in-one with web connectivity. It offers the lowest cost per page versus wide-format inkjet all-in-ones in its class and prints up to 13 x 19 inches.
The MFP offers both wireless and wired connectivity, maximum printer speed of 33 ppm black and 32 ppm color, and energy savings of up to 40 percent compared to Energy Star laser products.
The new Officejet printers include HP ePrint and print apps.
