Inkcups Now Corporation has recently extended the capabilities of the PromoJET industrial ink jet printer to include the decoration of edible items. The PromoJET is a solvent inkjet printer for flat or 3-dimensional products up to 5 inches high. With the recent addition of edible ink, this solvent inkjet printer decorates a most wide range of promotional products and gifts: from pens, golf balls, CDs and plaques to custom cookies, mints, chocolate, lollypops and other edibles. All components of the PromoJET edible ink are FDA approved.

The PromoJET industrial ink jet printer is ideal for any graphic printed on a light colored or white substrate and offers incredible benefits when running four-color process, gradients or multi-color printing jobs. With this direct-to-part system, just print the digital file to the inkjet – and within minutes your products are decorated with crisp graphics. PromoJET features an 8 color ink jet head and a DC driven tooling table (11” x 18”), onto which parts can be tooled into a multiple-up configuration. Specialized RIP software controls the color reproduction and the overall amount of ink laid on the product.
