Xerox Releases New Solid Ink Multifunction Printers

Xerox hopes that its new MFPs will build on its ColorQube brand platform and will provide customers with a cost effective way of printing.
The solid ink technology of this series means that the printer does not use cartridges. The MFPs also print at speeds of up to 55 ppm in colour and 60 ppm in black and white, and can scan at 60 impressions per minute in colour.
The Energy Star accredited printers also include the option to print from mobile devices.
Infotrends' Digital Peripherals Consulting Services Director Robert Palmer said: "The Xerox ColorQube 9200 Series broke new ground in office colour printing by turning the cost equation on its head. It gave companies an affordable way to use colour every day –something they have requested for years." He continued: "The new Xerox ColorQube MFPs deliver the cost savings businesses have come to expect from solid ink technology."
The list price for the ColorQube 9300 Series starts at $22,299, with orders being taken immediately in North America, and other areas following soon.
