Prices of Older HP Inkjet Cartridge and Print Head Models Increase

According to Actionable Intelligence, distributors are reporting that HP will increase prices by 10 percent for older model Designjet inkjet cartridge and print heads effective July 1. HP is attributing the increase to “rising production and supply chain costs,” Action Intel reports. Although HP may still be suffering damages from the Japanese tsunami and earthquake, Action Intel sites other pressures, such as the price of raw materials, specifically the overall increased cost of oil.
