Samsung Electronics surveyed 1,500 adults and found that printer jams, slow computers and spam email were a “daily misery” for office workers.

Workers also said they would like to see an automatic paper jam fixer, as well as self-filling toner cartridges.

Dion Smith of Samsung UK said: ”It's really interesting to see this 'can't live with it, can't live without it' approach to technological developments from office workers in the UK.

”It appears that all the fantastic benefits technology can bring to an office environment are being counteracted by its misuse.”

The irritating conduct of co-workers topped the list however, with those who make noisy calls, bring smelly food into the office, and fail to offer a round of tea being listed as some of the most hated habits.
