Xerox Introduces Four New Printer Series

We all hear stories about declining computer, printer and printer supplies sales, but in the same breath, it seems like printer manufacturers are still developing and introducing new printers. We shared with you a whole slew of printers from Epson yesterday, and now we're bringing you what's new from Xerox.

This week, Xerox introduced four new printer series: the Phaser 7500, the WorkCentre 7400, the WorkCentre 6400 and the WorkCentre 4250.

The Phaser 7500 series is a line of single function color laser printers, and has four models in the line, starting from the Xerox Phaser 7500N, 7500DN, 7500DT and 7500DX. Print speeds for these printers are rated at 35 pages per minute, and print resolution can reach up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. These printers have PANTONE-approved color tables and their monthly duty cycle is up to 150,000 pages. It can accommodate up to 2,100 sheets on the top configuration. The series also offers the new „Color by Words” feature from Xerox.

The WorkCentre 7400 series consists of colored multifunction laser printers, and has three models: WC7425, WC7428 and WC7435. All models provide users with copying capabilities on top of printing. Print speeds are rated as reaching up to 35 pages per minute, with a monthly duty cycle of up to 105,000 sheets. The series also feature a duplex automatic document feeder that can accommodate up to 75 sheets of paper and has automatic networking capabilities. Scanning and fax are optional functions.

The WorkCentre 6400 series is also a line of colored multifunction laser printers with three models: the 6400S, 6400X and 6400XF. All models have copying and scanning capabilities, while some also have fax. It can print faster than the 7400 at 37 pages per minute and has duplexing capabilities built in.

The WorkCentre 4250 series is a multifunction monochrome printer line with four models: 4250C, 4250S, 4250X, and 4250XF. These models can print, copy and scan; the 4250X and 4250XF has fax capabilities as well.
